I be all my cd's to be in lossless format except when I rip them with WMP 11 they just turn into 128 kbps wma files. How do I rip them into flac or wma lossless plan?

At first I wanted to convert my wma files into mp3 files, and just switch the kbps to 320, except audacity won't let me trade the kbps for some reason, please try to help me with this too. It says I need to download LAME MP3 encoder but I don't even know what that means ><

P.s-I own an E100 iriver which I heard can aid flac. I have windows media player 11, and windows vista. Also I'm an absolute newbie at this music fill so need detailed explanations. Thanks in advance ^^

Here is the this of the software on my computer.... anyone have any suggestions of what can be removed to remedy my computer's processing speed? I want all games removed, and ANYthing extra that I don't need. I have a creative zen MP3 player, but the rest of the music player software i lack gone, but I'm not sure what is safe to uninstall. i placed the iriver placement disc for my mp3 player in my new laptop and it shows up on my computer as the disk drive but when i click on it says "disc not found" or "disc not recognised" any ideas on what the intractable is and how i can solve it?

i am lacking to buy a new mp3 player i was thinking of and ipod but then i saw the latte and iriver mp3 players and they seem like a great deal i saw them online at target and amazon but i was wondering if anyone knew what there websites were i cant seem to find it not sellers but the realized place like the makers of irver and latte?

I neediness an AC adaptor for the mp3 player mentioned above. It connects through a regular usb mini cable to the computer for power, but for vacations I need an AC adaptor. I already have two divergent ones but I'm afraid to use them in case they fry the battery (like my previous player, iriver clix2)

The adaptors have the following I/O:

Input: 100-240V 50/60 Hz
Efficiency: DC5.0V -.-.-. 1200mA

Input: 230V ~ 50 Hz

Will any one of them work?
